Vehicle Concrete Crossover Subsidy Program

Council’s objective is to subsidise residences for appropriately situated and constructed concrete vehicular access between the road pavement and the private property. To ensure all crossovers comply with the standards set by Council.

Council has allocated funds in the current year’s budget for this program that will be reviewed each year at the annual Budget.

Council is offering a subsidy paid by Council which will be 50% of the total cost (capping at $3,000.00) of a standard 3m wide crossover, as estimated by Council or Contractor. (Costs estimated on previous crossovers within the town are from $4,000 to $6,000).

Council will give the successful application a quotation of the crossover and applicants costs must be paid to Council prior to works being commenced (please note that works may not commence till early 2025).
